A-Rod’s Gran Paraiso Penthouse
The Gran Paraiso is one of the latest and also the last of the buildings set to join the existing Paraiso Bay condo in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Unlike the rest of the towers in the condominium, true to its name (Spanish for ‘grand paradise’), this building is expected to provide the most luxurious experience of all the buildings in Paraiso Bay and it is the only one of the four buildings that will feature soaring ten foot ceilings in each of the standard units. Gran Paraiso may also end up being the home of one of baseball’s most notable figures.
New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez—also known as A-Rod—recently purchased the Gran Paraiso condo penthouse located on the building’s 53rd floor. Details as to how much Rodriguez paid for the posh place haven’t been disclosed but, going by similarly priced Edgewater condo penthouses, it’s probably over $4 million. The four bedroom penthouse is reportedly over 3,200 square feet and has twelve-foot ceilings, 4.5 bathrooms, a private elevator landing, floor to ceiling windows and a 951 square foot near wraparound terrace. The combined living, dining, and kitchen area spans close to 1,000 square feet.
The Gran Paraiso condo has a total of two penthouses and seven different floorplans available with one, two, three or four bedrooms.
